 Since 1993, David Hancock has been the Principal Cellist of the Nashville Chamber Orchestra. He is also cellist with the Atlanta Chamber Players. He and his wife Carolyn are the founders of Chamber Music Atlanta (www.chambermusicatlanta.com), and were instrumental in the formation of the Chamber Orchestra of Tennessee. David received the Bachelor of Music degree from Indiana University. He went on to earn the Master of Music degree from Southwestern Theological Seminary in Texas. He can be heard as soloist on recordings for the NCO, the Atlanta Chamber Players, as well as hundreds of other commercial recordings. In 2002, David started Cellojazz and has appeared in Atlanta playing standard jazz literature with piano and bass.
